Department History
The Department of Geography at the
Punjabi
University
,
Patiala
was established in the Faculty of Sciences in 1974. The beginning was
made with only three teachers, two readers and one lecturer, in
position. Though quite a late starter, the Department has made notable
contribution to teaching and research in geography during this short
period.
