Bal, who was later elevated to be the Vice Chancellor of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. Subsequently the Department was headed by Dr. A.C. Arora, Dr. Y.P. Bajaj, Dr. S.K. Bajaj, and Dr. D.S.
