Punjabi University, Baba Jogi Peer Neighbourhood Campus Ralla (Mansa) was started on October 3,2006 by worthy Vice Chancellor S.Swarn Singh Boparai. As per scanty information available, this place is known as Jogi Peer after the name of Baba Jogi Peer who was a king Deevang. He became a devotee of Lord , traveled widely for the welfare of mankind and also visited this village Ralla. People from far and wide visit this dera to fulfill their wishes. This place is also famous for Jogi Peer Mela particularly of people belonging to CHAHAL caste who arrange langars during the Mela and donate liberally. With the active co-operation of Sant Baba Gopal Das, Gram Panchyat (Sabha) of village Ralla donated 110 hectare land to Punjabi University, Patiala to establish this campus. Initially, campus was started in the building of Baba Jogi Peer Public School and C.C.A . and P.G.D.C.A courses were started in the beginning of this campus.Prof. W.R. Bansal was appointed as Head of this campus. Presently B.C.A., P.G.D.C.A., M.Sc. (IT) and M.C.A. courses are running in the Campus. The foundation stone of new four storey building of this campus was laid down by Honorable Vice chancellor Dr. Jaspal Singh on 19.12.2008. Now this campus is gaining heights under the guidance of Dr. Mohinder Singh Sidhu.
