ਕੈਂਪਸ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ: ਅਕਤੂਬਰ 2006

ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਬਾਬਾ ਜੋਗੀ ਪੀਰ ਨੇਬਰਹੁੱਡ ਕੈਂਪਸ, ਰੱਲਾ (ਮਾਨਸਾ) ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਅਕਤੂਬਰ, 2006 ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੀ ਉਸਾਰੀ ਲਈ, ਗਰਾਮ ਪੰਚਾਇਤ, ਰੱਲਾ ਨੇ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਦਾਨ ਵਜੋਂ ਦਿੱਤੀ । ਇਸ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦਾ ਆਰੰਭ ਪੀ.ਜੀ.ਡੀ.ਸੀ.ਏ. ਅਤੇ ਸੀ.ਸੀ.ਏ. ਨਾਮ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਦੀ ਸੁਰੂਆਤ ਨਾਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਉਸ ਸਮੇਂ ਇਸ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਨੁੰ ਇੱਕ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੀ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬੀ.ਸੀ.ਏ., ਐਮ.ਐਸ.ਸੀ.(ਆਈ.ਟੀ.), ਐਮ.ਸੀ.ਏ. ਅਤੇ ਬੀ.ਕਾਮ ਜਿਹੇ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਥੋਂ ਦੀ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੋੜਿਆ ਗਿਆ । ਇਸ ਸਿਖਿਆ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦਾ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਕਿੱਤਾ ਮੁਖੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਦੇ ਅਜਿਹੇ ਉੱਨਤ ਅਤੇ ਅਗਰਗਾਮੀ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਵਜੋਂ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਹੋਣਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਥੇ ਪੇਂਡੂ ਖੇਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਾਂ ਤੋ ਵੰਚਿਤ ਵਰਗਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਿਖਿਆ ਤੱਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਨੂੰ ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀਅਤਾ, ਭਾਸਾ, ਧਰਮ ਆਦਿ ਜਿਹੇ ਬੰਧਨਾਂ ਤੋ ਮੁਕਤ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਆਸਾਨੀ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਭਵ ਹੋਣ ਯੋਗ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ । ਬਾਬਾ ਜੋਗੀ ਪੀਰ ਨੇਬਰਹੁੱਡ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਰੱਲਾ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਨ ਬਲਾਕ ਦਾ ਨੀਂਹ ਪੱਥਰ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੇ ਉੱਪਕੁਲਪਤੀ ਡਾ. ਜਸਪਾਲ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਕਰ ਕਮਲਾ ਨਾਲ ਰੱਖਿਆ। ਇਸ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੀ ਨਵੀਂ ਚਾਰ ਮੰਜਿਲਾ ਇਮਾਰਤ 2011 ਵਿੱਚ ਸੰਪੂਰਨ ਹੋਈ। ਇਹ ਪੂਰੀ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਸਾਫ਼ ਸੁਥਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਨ ਅਨੁਕੂਲਿਤ ਹੈ।

Establishment of Campus: October 2006

Punjabi University, Baba Jogi Peer Neighbourhood Campus Ralla(Mansa) was established in October, 2006. The land for this campus was donated by Gram Panchayat, Ralla. In the beginning, two courses namely PGDCA and CCA were started. At that time campus was started in the local school building premises. Later on BCA, M.Sc(IT), MCA and B.Com courses were added. The vision of this campus is to create an advanced center of professional learning, where rural area students and under privileged section of society can get education at their doorstep unfettered by the barriers of nationality, language and religion. The foundation stone of teaching block of Ralla campus was laid down by Dr. Jaspal Singh, Vice Chancellor of Punjabi University Patiala. The newly four storey building was completed in 2011. The whole building is eco friendly.
