ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ

ਮਾਲਵਾ ਖਿੱਤੇ ਦੇ ਪਛੜ੍ਹੇਪਨ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਕ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਨੇ ਉਤਸ਼ਾਹੀ ਕਦਮ ਚੁੱਕਦੇ ਹੋਏ 13 ਫਰਵਰੀ, 2009 ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣਾ ਇੱਕ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਨੇਬਰਹੁੱਡ ਕੈਂਪਸ, ਮੌੜ (ਬਠਿੰਡਾ) ਵਿਖੇ ਸਥਾਪਿਤ ਕੀਤਾ। ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਮੌੜ, ਮਾਲਵਾ ਖਿਤੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿੱਤਾ ਮੁਖੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕੈਂਪਸ 11.2 ਏਕੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੈਲਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਤਲਵੰਡੀ ਸਾਬੋ- ਰਾਮਪੁਰਾ ਸੜਕ ਉੱਪਰ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿੱਤਾ ਮੁਖੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਦਾਨ ਕਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਕ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ ਸਨਮਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਹੈ। ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਦੇ ਕੋਰਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਿੱਤਾ ਆਧਾਰਿਤ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਸੈਸ਼ਨ 2013-14 ਤੋਂ ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਬੀ.ਏ. ਦਾ ਕੋਰਸ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਕੈਂਪਸ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਹਰਿਆ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੈ। ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਨੂੰ ਅਧੁਨਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਸਾਜੋ-ਸਮਾਨ ਨਾਲ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਹੈ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਲੈੱਬ, ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ ਹਾਲ, ਲਾਇਬਰੇਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਵਧੀਆਂ ਕਮਰੇ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹਨ। ਕੈਂਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਹਾਲ, ਕੰਟੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਬਗੀਚੇ ਹਨ।

Keeping in view the aspiration of the sylvan background of the Malwa region of Punjab for quality education, Punjabi University, Patiala took a bold step of establishing its Campus at Maur (Bathinda) on February 13, 2009. It is known as the Neighbourhood Campus of Punjabi University, Patiala. Punjabi University Campus, Maur seeks to be at the forefront for changing the face of professional education in the Malwa region. The campus is spread in 11.2 acres of lush green area on Talwandi sabo- Rampura phul road at Maur Mandi. It has a unique distinction of providing professional education in the fields of Management and Computers. The courses offered in management and computers are specially designed to teach application part of the theory which includes work-based activity wherever possible. From the session 2013-14, the humanities group for girls has been started in this campus. The campus is vast and well planned. Punjabi university has prepared this campus with the latest and modern equipments in the computer lab, seminar hall, library, rooms etc. The campus has one big Hall, Canteen, rooms and beautiful lawns. All courses use international pedagogy like field study, room presentation, seminars, group discussion, simulation, etc.
