Date of Establishment of the College: 2011
University College, Dhilwan situated in the village Dhilwan, 20 Km away from Barnala on Tapa-Pakho Kenchian Road. It is one of the constituent colleges affiliated to Punjabi University, Patiala under the 11th planning scheme of UGC (University Grants Commission). The College covers the area of 13 acres. The College is privileged with four academic blocks, one administration block, sports grounds, a big Library, Lush green lawns, Canteen and Common rooms for girls and boys. The College is well linked by road with Barnala, Tapa, Mansa, Bathinda city and nearby villages.
The initial session of the College started in 2011. In the College students enrolled in B.A., B.Com. B.Sc. (Medical and Non-Medical), B.C.A., P.G.D.C.A. and M.A. History streams. The College is bound to involve students in co-curricular activities like seminars, conferences, sports meets and NSS Camps.
University College is equipped with qualified and competent staff in various streams. Teachers keep on participating in seminars and conferences in orders to update themselves.
ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਦਾ ਸਾਲ : 2011
ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਕਾਲਜ, ਢਿੱਲਵਾਂ ਬਰਨਾਲੇ ਤੋਂ 20 ਕਿਲੋਮੀਟਰ ਦੂਰ ਤਪਾਪੱਖੋ ਕੈਂਚੀਆਂ ਰੋਡ ਤੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਢਿੱਲਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਯੂ.ਜੀ.ਸੀ. ਦੀ 11ਵੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਸਕੀਮ ਅਧੀਨ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮਾਨਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਾਂਸਟੀਚੂਐਂਟ ਕਾਲਜਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਇੱਕ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਕਾਲਜ 13 ਏਕੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਫੈਲਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਚਾਰ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਬਲਾਕ, ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕੀ ਬਲਾਕ, ਖੇਡ ਮੈਦਾਨ, ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੀ ਲਾਇਬਰੇਰੀ, ਹਰੇ ਭਰੇ ਘਾਹ ਦੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ, ਕੰਟੀਨ ਅਤੇ ਲੜਕੇ ਤੇ ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਕਾਮਨ ਰੂਮ ਸਥਿਤ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਕਾਲਜ ਬਰਨਾਲਾ, ਤਪਾ, ਮਾਨਸਾ ਅਤੇ ਬਠਿੰਡਾ ਸ਼ਹਿਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਨੇੜਲੇ ਪਿੰਡਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸੜਕਾਂ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ।
ਇਸ ਕਾਲਜ ਦਾ ਅਰੰਭਕ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ 2011 ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਇਸ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੀ.ਏ., ਬੀ.ਕਾਮ, ਬੀ.ਐਸ ਸੀ. (ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਅਤੇ ਨਾਨਮੈਡੀਕਲ), ਬੀ.ਸੀ.ਏ., ਪੀ.ਜੀ.ਡੀ.ਸੀ.ਏ. ਅਤੇ ਐਮ.ਏ. ਹਿਸਟਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਦਾਖਲਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਹਿਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ, ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸ, ਖੇਡ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਐਨ.ਐਸ.ਐਸ. ਕੈਂਪ ਆਦਿ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਭਾਗੀਦਾਰੀ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਵੱਧ ਹੈ।
ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਯੋਗ ਅਤੇ ਤਜਰਬੇਕਾਰ ਸਟਾਫ਼ ਵੱਖਵੱਖ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਲਈ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ। ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਵੀ ਸੈਮੀਨਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਕਾਨਫਰੰਸਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਗ ਲੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਾਂ ਜੋ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਸਮੇਂ ਦਾ ਹਾਣੀ ਬਣਾ ਸਕਣ।

ਲਾਇਬਰੇਰੀ
ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹੀ ਅਤੇ ਹਵਾਦਾਰ ਲਾਇਬਰੇਰੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ, ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਰਸਾਲੇ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
NSS
The NSS wing of the college has been running successfully from the several years. The college has at present one unit of boys and girls for NSS activities. The NSS wing organizes various camps and events for the overall development of the students.

ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਈ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਐੱਨ.ਐੱਸ.ਐੱਸ. ਯੂਨਿਟ ਸਫ਼ਲਤਾ ਪੂਰਵਕ ਚਲਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਵਰਤਮਾਨ ਸਮੇਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਐੱਨ.ਐੱਸ.ਐੱਸ. ਦੀਆਂ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਲੜਕੇ ਅਤੇ ਲੜਕੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਇੱਕ ਯੂਨਿਟ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੈ। ਐੱਨ.ਐੱਸ.ਐੱਸ. ਯੂਨਿਟ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਸਰਵਪੱਖੀ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਵੱਖ–ਵੱਖ ਕੈਂਪ ਅਤੇ ਗਤੀਵਿਧੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।
PTA
For the holistic development and constructive working of the college, the "Parents Teacher Association" (PTA) has been established in the college. The general body members of the PTA comprises of students, parents and teachers. The basic aim of the PTA is to develop healthy and trust worthy relationship between students, teachers and parents. The aim of the association is to resolve the basic problems of the students and help the needy students financially to make self reliant.

ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਸਮੁੱਚੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਅਤੇ ਸਰੰਚਨਾਤਮਕ ਕਿਰਿਆਵਾਂ ਲਈ ‘‘ਮਾਪੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕ ਸੰਸਥਾ’’ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਚੁਣੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇਸ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ, ਅਧਿਆਪਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਪਿਆਂ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਚੰਗੇ ਸੰਬੰਧ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸੰਸਥਾ ਦਾ ਉਦੇਸ਼ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਸਮੱਸਿਆਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਹੱਲ ਕਰਨਾ ਹੈ।
Sports
Considering the keen interest of the students in the sports activities, the college provides the facilities for various games in the college campus. The college ground is well maintained and is a centre of attraction. The college students have acclaimed laurels at the state and university level tournaments in the games.
ਖੇਡਾਂ
ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੁਚੀ ਨੂੰ ਧਿਆਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਰੱਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਕਾਲਜ ਕੈਂਪਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਖ–ਵੱਖ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਲਈ ਸੁਵਿਧਾਵਾਂ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਹਨ। ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ ਗਰਾਉਂਡ ਤਿਆਰ ਕਰਵਾਇਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਜਿਹੜਾ ਸਭ ਦੀ ਖਿੱਚ ਦਾ ਕੇਂਦਰ ਹੈ। ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਟੇਟ ਅਤੇ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਪੱਧਰ ਦੇ ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੱਲਾਂ ਮਾਰੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
Scholarships Cell
The college has established scholarship cell for disbursing scholarships under the centre and state scholarships scheme for the students.
