Department History

Punjabi University Regional Centre for IT and Management, Mohali was established in the year 2000. It was renamed as Punjabi University Centre for Emerging and Innovative Technology, Mohali in 2023. The Centre was set up with an aim to provide quality education in the field of computer application and management in order to meet the growing needs of the business and industry. The Centre is located in Phase-VII-Residential Area, Mohali which is contiguous with Chandigarh.

ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਰੀਜਨਲ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਫਾਰ ਆਈ.ਟੀ. ਐਂਡ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ, ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਦੀ ਸਥਾਪਨਾ ਸਾਲ 2000 ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਇਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਬਦਲ ਕੇ 2023 ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਫਾਰ ਐਮਰਜਿੰਗ ਐਂਡ ਇਨੋਵੇਟਿਵ ਟੈਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ, ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਕਾਰੋਬਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਦਯੋਗ ਦੀਆਂ ਵਧਦੀਆਂ ਲੋੜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਐਪਲੀਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਨ. ਕੇਂਦਰ ਫੇਜ਼-VII-ਰਿਹਾਇਸ਼ੀ ਖੇਤਰ, ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਿਤ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਚੰਡੀਗੜ੍ਹ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਲਗਦਾ ਹੈ।

Infrastructure Facilities

The building housing the Centre is surrounded by beautiful gardens. The Centre is equipped with two advanced computer labs, audio-visual aids in fully air-conditional smart classrooms and 15 Mbps leased line service for internet connectivity. It has a collection of 21,150 books, 21 newspapers, 34 magazines and a good collection of journals in its library.
