ENTITLEMENT

The following categories of persons shall be entitled to be enrolled as members of the Association:

1. Persons who have graduated from Punjabi University, Patiala.
2. Persons who have done Post Graduate Degree, M.Phil., M.Litt., Ph.D. from Punjabi University, Patiala.
3. Persons who have obtained diploma of at least one year duration after graduation.
4. Members of the teaching staff of the University or of its affiliated colleges even though they may not be graduates of this University.
5. Graduates of other Universities (Indian or Foreign) on whom membership is conferred by the Executive Council of the Association.
6. Persons registered as students with Punjabi University, Patiala.

Note : All Former Vice-Chancellors and former Registrars will be members of the Association.

Benefits of Alumni Association Membership:

1. Part of the Punjabi University Alumni Community
2. Participation in centralized and departmental alumni meets / reunions.
3. Guest House Booking Facility (University Main Campus, Andretta, Dehradun) at standard university charges. (Only for life/ Donor / Patron Member)
4. Library access in accordance with university norms.
5. Campus visitation privileges, including a vehicle pass.
6. Special guest invitations for various university events.

CATEGORIES OF MEMBERS

There will be the following categories of members

1. Patron
2. Donor Members
3. Life Members
4. Ordinary Members
5. Honorary Members

SUBSCRIPTION FOR MEMBERSHIP

1. A person may become a patron of this Association by donating a sum of at least of Rs. 50,000/- or more (NRI/Overseas : US$ 10,000 or equivalent with approval of the Chief Patron)
2. Donor Member: by donating Rs. 20,000/- or more (NRI/Overseas : US$ 4000 or equivalent)
3. Life Member (One Time): Rs. 1800/- (NRI/Overseas : US$ 100 or equivalent).
4. Ordinary Member: Rs. 700 per annum (financial year basis).
5. Honorary Member: On whom Membership is conferred by the Association.
