ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ
ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ, ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਭਾਈ ਕਾਨ੍ਹ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਾਭਾ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਹੈ ਵਿਸ਼ਾਲ, ਆਧੁਨਿਕ, ਵਾਤਾਨੁਕੂਲਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਈ-ਫਾਈ ਇਮਾਰਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਗਭਗ 5,79,200 ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਜਿਲਦਬੰਦ ਰਸਾਲੇ ਉਪਲੱਬਧ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ 70 ਪ੍ਰਿੰਟ ਜਰਨਲ/ਮੈਗਜ਼ੀਨ, ਅਖ਼ਬਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ 4 ਡਾਟਾਬੇਸ ਚੰਦੇ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਮੁਹੱਈਆ ਕਰਵਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਸਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ 360 ਦਿਨ ਰੋਜਾਨਾ 22 ਘੰਟੇ ਖੁੱਲੀ ਰਹਿੰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡਾ ਮੇਨ ਰੀਡਿੰਗ ਹਾਲ ਵੀ ਉਪਲੱਬਧ ਹੈ ਜਿਥੇ 700 ਤੋਂ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਪਾਠਕ ਬੈਠ ਕੇ ਸੰਦਰਭ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਬੰਧਿਤ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਦਾ ਅਧਿਐਨ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਪਾਠਕਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਪੜ੍ਹਨ ਲਈ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਦੇ ਬਾਹਰਲੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਵੀ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਖਰਾ ਰੀਡਿੰਗ ਹਾਲ ਉਪਲੱਬਧ ਹੈ। ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਓ ਐਨ ਓ ਐਸ (One Nation One Subscription) ਅਤੇ ਡੈੱਲਨੈਟ, ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੀ ਸਰਗਰਮ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਠਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਲੋੜੀਂਦੀ ਸਮੱਗਰੀ ਉਪਲੱਬਧ ਕਰਵਾਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਅਧਿਆਪਨ ਅਤੇ ਖੋਜ ਵਿਭਾਗਾਂ ਦੀਆਂ ਲੋੜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਪੂਰਾ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ।
University Library
The University Library, named as Bhai Kahn Singh Nabha Library, is housed in a spacious, modern, Air-Conditioned and Wi-Fi enabled building. The library stocks more than 5.79,200 volumes and subscribes to 70 print journal/magazine, newspapers and 4 databases. Latest books are added every year. The Library is kept open for 360 days of the year for 22 hours in a day. The library has a majestic main reading hall, which has a seating capacity of more than 700 readers, where they can sit and consult reference books and other relevant literature. A separate Reading Hall outside the library, is available for readers where they can read their personal books. The library is active member ONOS (One Nation One Subscription) and DELNET, New Delhi and provide the required material to the readers. It also caters to the requirements of all the teaching and research departments.

ਡਾ. ਗੰਡਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਰੈਫਰੈਂਸ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਮੇਨ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਦਾ ਅਨਿੱਖੜਵਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡਮੁੱਲਾ ਅੰਗ ਹੈ ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਅਲੱਗ ਭਵਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਥਾਪਤ ਹੈ। ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਮੁੱਖ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਨੀ ਮੰਜ਼ਿਲ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਰਸਤਾ ਜੋੜ ਕੇ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਦਾ ਮੰਤਵ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਇਤਿਹਾਸ ਤੇ ਸਭਿਆਚਾਰ, ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਤੇ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖੀ ਨਾਲ ਸੰਬੰਧਿਤ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਮੁੱਲਾ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਬਣਾਉਣਾ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਦੇ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਵਿੱਚ 1.10 ਲੱਖ ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਹਨ। ਵਿਸ਼ਵ ਭਰ ਤੋਂ ਛਪਦੀਆਂ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਣ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਦੀਆਂ 49 ਅਖਬਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਰਸਾਲੇ ਇਸ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਪਲੱਬਧ ਹਨ। ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਸੈਕਸ਼ਨ ਇਸ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਦਾ ਬਹੁਮੁੱਲਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹਨ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਸਿੱਧ 80 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਵਿਦਵਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਹਿਤਕਾਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਦਾਨ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਨਿੱਜੀ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਉਣ ਵਾਲੀਆਂ ਪੀੜੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਸੰਭਾਲ ਕੇ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਵਿੱਚ 19ਵੀਂ ਤੇ 20ਵੀਂ ਸਦੀ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਅਖਬਾਰ, ਮੈਗਜ਼ੀਨ, ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ, ਡਾਇਰੀਜ਼, ਦੁਰਲੱਭ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਤੇ ਹੱਥ –ਲਿਖਤਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਮਿਲ ਹਨ। ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਲੇਖ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ, ਗਿਆਨ ਅਤੇ ਬੁੱਧੀ ਦਾ ਖ਼ਜ਼ਾਨਾ ਹਨ ਜੋ ਵਿਦਵਾਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਬਹੁਤ ਮਹੱਤਵ ਰੱਖਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ।
Dr. Ganda Singh Punjabi Reference Library
Dr. Ganda Singh Punjabi Reference Library is valueable and inseparable part of the main library. This is housed in a separate building which is connected through a passage passing from the ground floor of the main library. The aim of this library is to build up a strong collection on Punjab History & Culture, Punjabi Language & Literature and Sikhism,. The collection of this library comprises of more than 1.10 lakh documents. About 49 important daily, weekly, newspapers and periodicals published anywhere in the world are received regularly in this library. Special collection section is very valueable part of this library which has preserved Personal collections from more than 80 eminent historians and litterateurs for the posterity. These contain newspapers, magazines, books, diaries and manuscripts pertaining to the 19th and 20th century. These documents contain mines of information, knowledge and wisdom which are of immense value for the scholars.

ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿਸਤਾਰ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ, ਮੋਹਾਲੀ 1996 ਵਿੱਚ ਪੁੱਡਾ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ, ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੀ ਸਾਂਝੀ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਂਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦੇ ਵਸਨੀਕਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਖੋਲੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਹੁਣ ਇਹ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਪਬਲਿਕ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਦਮਿਕ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਵਜੋਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਸੈਂਟਰ ਫਾਰ ਇਮਰਜਿੰਗ ਐਂਡ ਇੰਨੋਵੇਟਿਵ ਟੈਕਨਾਲੋਜੀ, ਮੋਹਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ, ਫੈਕਲਟੀ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਅਤੇ ਆਮ ਜਨਤਾ ਦੀਆਂ ਲੋੜਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੂਰਤੀ ਲਈ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ 10 ਅਖਬਾਰਾਂ/ਮੈਗਜ਼ੀਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਖਰੀਦ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੱਖ–ਵੱਖ ਵਿਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੀਆਂ 21,000 ਤੋਂ ਵੀ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਕਿਤਾਬਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਉਪਲੱਬਧ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਰਮ, ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਪਿਊਟਰ ਸਾਇੰਸ ਦੀਆਂ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਹਨ। ਸਮਰਪਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਸਹਿਯੋਗੀ ਸਟਾਫ ਲਗਾਤਾਰ ਸਰਕੂਲੇਸ਼ਨ ਅਤੇ ਸੰਦਰਭ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ-ਨਾਲ ਅਨੁਵਾਦ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਪਾਠਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਦਦ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਅਲੱਗ ਸੈਕਸ਼ਨ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਆਮ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਦਵਾਨਾਂ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਵਰਦਾਨ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਲਾਇਬ੍ਰੇਰੀ ਦਾ ਵੱਡਮੁੱਲਾ ਸੰਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਇਸਦੇ ਪਾਠਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਖੋਜ -ਕਾਰਜ, ਮੰਨੋਰੰਜਨ ਅਤੇ ਆਮ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ।

Punjabi University Extension Library, Mohali came into existence in 1996 with the joint efforts of PUDA and Punjabi University, Patiala. This library was established to serve the local masses of Mohali. At present, it is a public as well as academic library. This library caters to the needs of the students as well as faculty members of Punjabi University Centre for Emerging and Innovative Technology, Mohali along with local people. This library subscribes 10 newspapers/magazines. It has total collection of more than 21000 books on varied subjects and has a special collection on religion, management and computers. It has very dedicated and cooperative staff who are always ready to provide services like circulation services, reference services. It provides occasionally translation service for public. A separate section for children is provided in this library. This library is a boon for public as well as academicians. The rich collection of this library helps in the research work, entertainment and general awareness of its users.
